Ashleigh Rose

Ashleigh discovered Pilates after a car accident in 2003. Coming from a background as a competitive figure skater, and other athletics including snowboarding, swimming, and soccer. Pilates fit naturally into her personal lifestyle of exercise. After extensive personal practice and over 900 hours of intense training, observation, and teaching, Ashleigh received her first certification in California through Physical Mind Institute in 2007, while also completing her B.A. in Communications from San Francisco State University. In 2009, Ashleigh received certification through Body Arts and Science International. Over the few years, Ashleigh has taught Pilates at Rancho La Puerta Health & Fitness Resort in Mexico, California, South Carolina, and the Dominican Republic. She has practiced under experienced trainers in Seattle, San Francisco, and New York.

 

Ashleigh’s passion for teaching exercise has her continuously exploring new modalities of fitness including Xtned Barre, TRX, and other functional training methods. Ashleigh seeks to incorporate knowledge from all aspects of movement in her teaching. Her style integrates classical movements with innovative exercises creating unique programs that match the needs and abilities of each and every client. Ashleigh hopes to share her passion for movement and exercise with her clients and help them be the best they can be in their body.

 

In her free time Ashleigh enjoys cooking, Ariel Silk, hiking, playing with her dog (ella), horseback riding, and junkin – she loves to paint old furniture!
